The Pleasure of Drugs The Oxford vocabulary defines entertainment. It is a smelling of satisfaction or joy. Itis enjoyment. It is a source of joyfulness or gratification. It is form ally a persons will ordesire. Finally they define it as sensual gratification. Now if we put these all to jerk offherin one sentence, pleasure is something that brings an boilersuit feeling of satisfaction andgratification while fulfilling desires. If that doesnt last good, what does? We havealready determined that people graphicly are drawn to altered states of consciousness. Its a fact that we are drawn to that which feels altered. It starts at a unripe age andhypothetically we realize the world of do drugss and their ability to enhance normality by raw adulthood. When we add in the pleasure principle to that already want outfeeling, you get something that feels so amazing, and is also potentially addictive. It is important to acknowledge the overpowering seductiveness and allurem ent ofdrugs. Because some drugs directly affect the way that the brain whole caboodle and operates,the ecstasy that results kitty be overwhelming. This is exactly where society comes intoplay. If someone can only feel that sort of pleasure from the high of heroin or that immobility from a cigarette, why would they want to stop? What would their alternativebe?
